Echoes in the Cave examines how algorithmic systems reshape perception, memory, and meaning within contemporary image culture. AI-interpreted socio-political imagery is translated into Gestuno, a universal sign language, transforming mediated events into silent, embodied gestures. By replacing textual discourse with corporeal signs, the work exposes the ideological residue embedded in images without relying on language. The image is approached not as a static surface, but as a temporal structure shaped by memory, repetition, and algorithmic interpretation—positioning perception itself as unstable and continuously reconfigured.
